Coronavirus update

Following the 19th July updates to Government Guidance and the relaxing of restrictions we wanted to update our customers on our plans and next steps. We have taken the decision to close the building to new room hire bookings for the month of August. This will give us chance to digest the changed guidance, update our policies and prepare for the full reopening of the business in September. We will of course honour any existing bookings already in the diary. During this time we will continue to monitor the changing local situation with COVID19.

We plan to allow groups to make their own decisions regarding risk and apply social distancing and mask wearing accordingly when using our meeting rooms. We urge customers to consider their own unique risks relevant to their group members and activities. We do, however, ask that masks and social distancing are still adhered to in all shared and social areas and when interacting with staff.

At point of booking we will advise customers of the room capacity numbers at the following social distancing 2 metres and 1.5metres along with the original room capacities pre COVID19.

Additional cleaning and hygiene measures will continue with regular hand washing and sanitising being advised and being mandatory for staff. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming space for all visitors to the building whilst being mindful of the different needs of groups and their choices regarding the relaxing of restrictions. We continue to be a COVID Secure building.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the office by email if you have any questions.

Updated hirer documents will be published by the end of August.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Meeting House soon
