  • arrive: from 3.30pm
  • depart: approx. 8pm
  • activities to involve collecting firewood for fire, sharing circle on theme of ‘fathers’ and simple shared meal to be cooked on fire or wood burning stove
  • some might like to have a long nightwalk back to Sheffield
  • please bring contribution – suggested amount of £5 for Bamford Community’s hospitality
  • bad weather option of ‘spider shed’
  • possibility of car sharing

Come with me and Zelly the dog on Saturday 3rd November along the Five Weirs Walk and Sheffield to Tinsley Canal, and enjoy vibrant autumn colours in what was once Sheffield’s industrial heartland.

Meet at 9.30am in the foyer at the Meadowhall Transport Interchange.

Distance 7 miles/11km. You can just do the Five Weirs section, 3.5 miles/6km.
