Double Joy fundraiser

Sat 10th September: an evening of music, mini auction and sponsored leg shaving!

Double Joy http://www.double-joy.org.uk/ is in need of extra funds to get through this summer and cope with the Brexit devaluation of the pound, (which means the money we normally send doesn’t go as far).

Gordon Ferguson and Horace the Friendly Horse from Sheffield Quaker Meeting have very generously offered to shave their hairy legs for Double Joy. Please sponsor them…Here is a link to do it easily online:

Soull Work: Sept. 10th 9.30am-1pm

‘Soul Work’

The healing of the paralysed man – Mark 2: 1-12
Sat. 10th September
In this Soul Work exploration at the Meeting House; we will start at 9.30, for 9.45 am, and finish at 1.00 pm.

On this occasion we will explore our understanding of sin, trust, forgiveness and healing, knowing that areas of our own lives can also be paralysed. In a greater consciousness we can raise our level of trust; and so bring to our lives and to the world an experience of greater healing. All are welcome.
