While the adults were having their big Threshing Meeting on Sunday 10th January, one of the children’s groups (5 – 8 year olds) also had a business meeting. A minute was prepared to bring together some of their ideas. That minute was read out to the main meeting on Sunday 17th January. Here it is:

In our children’s meeting on Sunday 10th January we had a business meeting. We thought about the meeting room not having enough space.

We had lots of different ideas. There could be more chairs and we could sit on our parents’ laps or the floor.

There could be two meetings at different times or the same time on a Sunday. We could have one meeting on a different day. We would like all meetings for worship to have a children’s meeting.

Nobody would like to change to a different meeting but maybe a bigger Meeting House could be built!
