challenge militarism, poverty and inequality.

Real Food Weekend at Bamford Quaker Community; 31st Aug – 2nd Sept

Join Jinny and Laurie for a weekend combining earthiness, creativity and culinary joy. We’ll harvest garden produce, make our own bread and invent new vegan recipes as we cook together. There will be opportunities for hands-on learning and for discussion of the principles and politics of sustainable food. All this set in the context of our Quaker community with twice-daily meeting for worship.
Starts with supper about 6.30 on Friday 31st August, finishes at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday 2nd September.
The cost of £90 includes comfortable accommodation mostly in single rooms and the fantastic food we create.
