Next Sunday
After Meeting for Worship next Sunday, Friends who were at Yearly Meeting last weekend will be sharing their experiences with us and helping us look forward to Yearly Meeting Gathering next year, to be held at the University of Warwick. So please join us for a shared lunch – we will provide soup and rolls, but together we can make a feast!

There will also be a Traidcraft stall next Sunday after meeting.

Next Sunday evening, the Quaker Faith & Practice Reading Group will meet at Richard King and Kiri Smith’s house in Crookes at 7.30, looking at Chapters 13 and 20 – all are welcome.

Pitsmoor Christ Church – Europe: In or Out?
6 Jun at 7.30pm. The European Referendum Debate with Tim Dewey (Chief Executive of Timothy Taylor’s and Brexiteer) and Owen Parker (Senior Lecturer in European Politics and Europhile) at Christ Church Pitsmoor. Come and listen, question and debate. All Welcome.

The AGM for Sheffield Church Action on Poverty Group is on Tuesday 7th June – 7.00-9.00 pm (Coffee/tea from 6.30) here at the Meeting House. The Keynote speaker is the
Rt Rev David Walker, Bishop of Manchester on the theme “Include me in —- a Christian vision for tackling poverty and promoting social justice”.

Our next Area Meeting will be held in Doncaster on Saturday 9th July – there are activities planned for children and young people, but they need to know by *14th June *if any are going to attend. Please let Mark Lallemand know if your children and young people are going to be there.

Following her attendance at the BYM Sustainability Gathering at Swanwick in March, Janet Paske has offered to convene a meeting to discuss the possibility of starting up a Sustainability Group related to climate change matters. If you’re interested please let Janet know by emailing her at She is away for a week or two but will be in touch on her return about a date.
