Creating Action
Building on the first session (Monday 13th September) this session will facilitate creative discernment of practical action(s) that will enable the group to “engage with others, and the natural world as part of a wider spiritual consciousness” (words taken from The Quaker Testimonies, March 2003)
The session will be led by professional theatre practitioner and group-work facilitator, Steve Loader, who attends Sheffield Central Meeting and is a volunteer facilitator with CRESST (conflict resolution in schools project.)
These 2 sessions are put on the Sheffield Quaker Living Witness Project – with the aim of nurturing a collective response to climate change. The project is open to the entire Sheffield Quaker community as a focal point for faith in action.
Living Witness Project is a nationwide campaign to support the development of Quaker corporate witness to sustainable living.
