Government spying on us?

The government has just announced a plan to spy on us all, to be pushed through “as soon as Parliamentary time allows”. They want to see details of who we call, text and email, and which websites we visit – without any kind of warrant or reason.

Cycle Coaching

Would you like to ride your bicycle more? Are you worried about traffic and your confidence on the road? Are you concerned to lower your carbon footprint by using your car less? Would you like the health benefits of cycling? Has minute 36 from BYM got you thinking about your lifestyle? Mark Lallemand is a member of Pedal Ready, Sheffield’s cycle coaching co-operative. Pedal Ready is active in schools and work places, but is keen for cycle coaching to spread beyond these two areas. Any Sheffield resident of any age is entitled to a free lesson. Whether you want to ride to work, for fun or to get to nearby places, we all approach cycling with different ideas. There are all sorts of fun possibilities: how about a family lesson? How about a group lesson eg getting from Endcliffe Park to Meeting? Maybe we could organise a publicity shot for the Sheffield Telegraph?! Contact Mark Lallemand after Sunday Meeting for Worship or on email (, if you are interested.

Save with Triodos – the really really ethical bank – and they will give £40 to WDM.
